Indoor Golf at Fort Kinnaird – Practice, Play, Improve
Welcome to PodGolf Edinburgh, Scotland’s home for private indoor golf. Our pod sits at Fort Kinnaird, bringing TrackMan golf simulators to the east of the city — rain, shine or Scottish gale.
Looking for a serious winter practice spot, a relaxed hour with friends, or somewhere for the kids to try golf for the first time? A PodGolf pod is a private, climate-controlled space to do exactly that — no tee-time queue, no clubhouse etiquette.
Tucked into Fort Kinnaird just off the A1, 15 minutes from Edinburgh city centre and easy driving from Musselburgh, Portobello, Craigmillar, Gilmerton and East Lothian. Each private pod seats up to four players, with free Callaway clubs for both left- and right-handed golfers.

PodGolf is committed to providing an inclusive and enjoyable experience for all customers. We fully recognise the importance of accessibility and have carefully considered our obligations under the Equality Act 2010, particularly the requirement to make reasonable adjustments for individuals with disabilities.
To ensure fair access at Fort Kinnaird we provide the following:
A portable access ramp is held for the site and deployed on request to provide step-free access to the pod (the unit sits approximately 430mm above mall floor level).
One of our trained local attendants — our Activators — attends in person to set up the ramp and assist customers into and out of the pod.
Assisted access is requested by emailing hello@PodGolf.co.uk or through the booking platform, with at least 48 hours’ notice. It is provided at no additional cost.
Our full Fort Kinnaird accessibility policy, including the reasoning behind our provision and what to do if we cannot accommodate you, is available on request.
Golf Lessons and Year-Round Practice
PodGolf Edinburgh is a brilliant base for serious practice. Bring your own PGA pro, work on your swing with real-time TrackMan data, or book a lesson with one of our coaching partners.
Scottish weather doesn’t always cooperate. Our pods give Edinburgh golfers somewhere to keep your game sharp through winter, warm up for the links season, or test new equipment with the same tour-level analytics the pros use. Custom club fittings available on request.
Play St Andrews, Carnoustie and 450 More
TrackMan’s course library gives you 450+ world-famous courses — Pebble Beach, Augusta, and every Open venue, including St Andrews, Carnoustie and Muirfield. Play a full round, work on your short game, or compete in interactive games with AI-powered swing feedback on every shot.
It’s like having 450 of the world’s great courses in your pocket — right next to the cinema.
